Frequently asked questions
The most common questions we get from our clients
Exfoliate your skin: A day or two before your spray tan appointment, gently exfoliate your skin to remove any dead skin cells. This will create a smooth surface for the spray tan to adhere to and will help ensure an even, long-lasting tan
Shave or wax: If you plan to shave or wax, do so at least 24 hours before your spray tan appointment to allow your skin time to recover. This will also help ensure an even application and prevent any irritation or redness.
Avoid moisturizers, oils, and perfumes: On the day of your appointment, avoid using any moisturizers, oils, or perfumes, as these can create a barrier that prevents the spray tan from adhering to your skin properly.
Wear loose, dark clothing: Wear loose-fitting, dark clothing to your appointment to avoid any rubbing or smudging of the tan. Tight-fitting clothing and undergarments should be avoided, as they may leave marks on your skin or cause the tan to rub off unevenly.
Bring flip-flops: Bring flip-flops or sandals to your appointment to wear after your spray tan. This will prevent any smudging or rubbing off of the tan on your feet.
Avoid water and sweating: Avoid showering, swimming, or any activities that may cause sweating for at least 6-8 hours after your spray tan appointment. This will give the tan time to develop and set properly.
By following these steps, you can help ensure a beautiful, long-lasting spray tan.

Tan Care
- Shower, removing any residue, lotion, deodorant, or any other barriers from skin.
- Shave as you normally do, preferably the day before you spray.
- Exfoliate your entire body to ensure a long-lasting, even-fading tan.
- Waxing, pedicures, and more other beauty services should be done 24-48H prior to tanning.
- Come with bare skin: no oils, lotions, etc.
- Loose, dark clothing and flip flops are best. Tight clothing, socks, or shoes may take the spray tan off in those areas so it’s important to leave nice and comfy!
- Your artist will advise when it’s safe to rinse off.
- Before your rinse, do not get wet, sweat, or wear anything too tight.
- During your first rinse, you will notice all your bronzer coming off in the shower. This is normal. You may look a bit lighter immediately after your first rinse but your spray tan will continue to develop over 24-48 hours.
- Over the next 7-10 days that you have your sunless tan on, please do not exfoliate your skin, use mineral oils, or stay in hot water for long periods of time. The more your skin exfoliates, the faster your spray tan can come off.
